The Orochi as i know is powered by a 3.3 litre 230 hp Toyota 3MZ-FE V6 engine, it is based on the Honda NSX platform and amazingly it uses both Honda and Lexus parts. The five-speed automatic box is also sourced from Lexus RX.
The performance figures are bit disappointing though, the 230bhp powerplant does anything but 327Nm of torque resulting in 0-100 in 7.0 seconds. Its chassis sits on race-style double wishbone suspension, and has been tuned by a former Mazda chief test driver. Its brakes are borrowed from the Acura Legend which deliver confidence-inspiring stopping ability, and they are more than up to the task. However the Mitsuoka is heavier, slower and less practical than the Honda NSX, on which it is based on.
It is available as an 'import only' in Chinese market and i am yet to discover its price.. will let u know as soon as i manage to find.
