Dear All
As you all know after a terrable accident I am unable to do any more hard core treking.But can not resist against my nature (exploring beautiful Pakistan).Due to my injured feet although I was unable to do long trips but still managed to explore new areas.This time on the back of a horse.
My special thanks to fellow Pak wheeler Haroon Scotch, Shabbir,Shahid Bahi,Raja Saqib, Col Ikram & Laghari Sahib whom helped me a lot during two different tours of Upper Naran Valley.
It was fund exploring the un-explored Manoor Gali & Manoor Top.
Attraction for Naran valley is like 1st love to me.
Although I had plans for Karomber but post poned due to my fitness problems.
I hope you all will like my adventures.
So stay tuned for Pictures as it will be a loooooooong thread with stuniung views & unforgetable stories.

My first trip started when Haroon Bahi (fellow Pak wheeler) from Lahore called me on 27-05-2010 & said that he is heading for Naran & wants my company.I told him that I am not fit for treking but he insists & said that Shabbir will drive my car & I have to go.For NaRAN I was unable to say no.So our tour started.Haroon Bahi, Shahib Bahi & Shabbir Bahi & Shoukat met me at Motor way (Isb chowk) & than Shabbir drove my car all the way to Naran.
We stayed 4 days there & enjoyed the cool weather, awsome glaciers,
We visited saif ul malook,lalazar top,besar,jalkhad,half way to Noori top (as road was closed due to early season) we stayed at PMA hutts Naran arranged by Haroon Bahi...And u known bourn fire & party on the rocks is a manadatory part of the game

ilyasi mosque Abotabad is famous for its pakoras.So at the start of the Journey we had lunch with hot pakoras

The Poor Pajero handled all our abuses.

loving Laghari Sahib (cheif engineer Ogdcl)
He is the senior most member of the group.Cooked exellent food for us.
In this tour we stayed in rooms of Shoaib Guide (Naran) & cooked ourself

Noori Nar top was almost frozen.I drove Pajero myself all the way upto the top.It was cold there...but the scene was breath taking

At Noori Top we decided that for next day we will move towards Manoor Gali & will try to make our way till Ansoo Lake .
Rout was Nara--to mahandri---than jeeping till Behari Banglow (manoor gali).
Behari banglow is the only rest house available in that area.The rest house is owned by Forest dept & with a very hard effort we got the booking of the same.
After gathering the all info from local guide we decided to Park our Pajero at Mahandri as trek of Behari banglow was in bad shape .So we decided to rent out Shahnawaz Red willys taxi jeep.And after reaching the behari banglow it proved that our decision was right as trek was way bad we thought & it was very difficult for our old pajero to make it.So wise decision is to save your horse

so as per plan next day we moved till Mahandri along with the red taxi jeep.We parked our Pajero at Kunhar view Hotel Mahandri.His owner Jehanzeb is an exleent guide.He told us all the iffs & buts of the Manoor gali & manoor valley & helped us a lot to get the booking of the Behari Banglow (Rest house).
After having tea break at Manahandi we left the metal road heading towards the Manoor Gali.It was a beautiful Jeep trek.Scene of Manoor gali are like one is travelling from Kalam to Mahodand lake...all thick forest..Jeep trek is along the stream..the source of the stream is Ansoo lake & few Glaciers around..It took us 2.5 hours to reach the Behari banglow...But the gatto trucks made the bad trek to worst...our driver Jhanzeb is an old buddy of mine..he is an outstanding driver but even than jeep got stuck twice in mudd (created by thye heavy loads of gatto trucks whom are taking the wood down hill).These merceze benz gatto trucks are 4x4 & extremly pwerful but they demaged treks for small vehcials...
any ways reaching Manoor Gali's last Jeepable spot (behari banglow was fun.
