I have a Santro Plus 2001 Model. For a last few days, after getting the car tuned and getting tappets adjusted because one was jammed, I am noticing that when the car runs for a while, there is a sort of hissing sound coming along with normal engine noise. this noise is more audible inside the cabin and though many times, I have opened the hood to have an idea from where the sound is exactly coming but couldnt locate as it seems like a generalized sound.
This sound only comes when the car runs for a while and comes at its normal operating temperatures and specially when the AC as well as the radiator fan is on. I have rarely noticed it when the AC is off and radiator fan not running.
I have also noticed that the car runs an average of 120 kms local on a 50Kgs cylinder with or without AC. Is this normal or low mileage
A few days back I changed the timing belt, timing bearing and waterbody, as well as filter/ oil and spark plugs. I use genuine Santro parts
can someone guide me as what could be the reason for this noise.
