Yes. For both primary and secondary through float chamber.
then @shaidbokhari should open those screws, let petrol drain out and then poke the carb cleaner straw into the jet, unless they are obstructed by linkages
I think his idle circuit is clogged or primary cutoff solenoid is not connected or not working or acting funny. @shaidbokhari
Slow jet has an o ring around its upper half restricting air to pass through upper port only. Check presence and condition of this o ring. What is the level of fuel in float chamber. If too low this issue is due.
@smijaz, does you car's coil get exact battery voltage at the coil or less?
It was 1.2 volts less of what was on battery terminal , I guess coz of old wiring and connectors feeding resistance. I fixed a relay now same same.
Where did you attach the relay, I tested three cars with the same problem
install relay on the outer leg of the ignition switch circuit.
the drop you see is "suzuki quality" at its best. Their ignition switches have cheaply made contacts.
Draw a wire with fuse directly from battery positive and connect to one of the relay wire (switch) the other wire goes to the coil positive. The original coil positive will connect to relay power and the other wire left will be grounded. This way when ignition + is fed to relay the relay connects the battery + to the coil +.
Edit: Zulfiqar idea is better. Why didn't I thought of that
I tested a 7 year old alto, a khyber (dude007'S), and my own margalla.
This is so pathetic, each and every car has this problem, it probably hurts performance
I also want to test this coil and battery voltage. I have a DMM.
DMM negative to battery negative, DMM positive to coil positive.
the coil negative is controlled by the ignitor - dont mess with it - anytime negative is switched off the coil fires - you run the risk of shock.
Exactly, one on batt negative and the other on coil positive.
That is just one spark right?
yes - one spark
And then Me, my coil or both of us? :what:
urdu - k'runt lagta hai
ahtiyat se kaam karo
coil negative to nahin hatana - agar garam pe bhi line aarahe hai.
How did you calculate 22km/litre?. By consuming 1 litre petrol in 1.5 litre bottle, like most carburetor specialists do?.
Which screws @margallar

Where to find such carby, used but unopenedWho can perform these test in rwp/isb
i put half liter petrol in a bottle. 1st drain the carb. then attach the bottle with carb. then drive. it goes to 11.15km and stops..
