The mileage depends totally on driving style and conditions. I know people to be extracting much mire from Cultus than 9 km/l.

You may have driven an rxi which has disk and drum brakes unlike lxi or eminent!

I have an RXi and have driven it 120k km Alhamdolillah. Brakes are very good.

You must have driven an unmaintained vehicle with worn out pads, discs or leaking hydraulics.
