Toyota Corolla XLI (Old) model, intake manifold damaged by backfiring on CNG. I contacted Toyota dealer. They told me that I have only one option to get it replaced which I did. New intake manifold is also giving sound (not much). CNG mechanics are advising that I should get repaired the old intake manifold by pulling out jalees from intake manifold and life time guarranty is also being offered. Please help what I should do.
- New manifold is also sounding but not much
- If intake manifold can be repaired by pulling out the jalees with life time guarranty
- If intake manifold can be used without these ventures ( jalees) then what is the function of these jalees.
- Any adverse effects on engine of intake manifold without jalees.
Input and guidance in this regard will be highly appriciated.
