AOA,I have a Toyota Se Saloon 2004. And currently the car has 205/60/R15 Dunlop SP 300 tires installed in it. The total mileage of car is 69k. I want to change the tires now. I did a market survey today. I liked Dunlop LM 702 and Dunlop ECO. Can anyone assist me that should i buy Dunlop or I should go for Yokohama? And in Dunlop... which one is better? ECO or LM702? ( ECO are bit slim and LM702 are wide n look bigger) but i don't know them performance wise. The people around me are telling me to get Yokohama tires. But i personally like Dunlop. Grip wise it's absolutely no match. I have experienced 152 km/h with these tires, i am very very comfortable with dunlop sp 300. and normally on motorway i drove at average of 130 - 140 km/h. without any issue of tires. (except a challan from motorway police )..So... guys plz help me in buying new tires.I'm in a big confusion right now.The prices for Dunlop and Yokohama are almost same. It's around 6k per tire. (In Lahore)The car is mostly driven in Lahore and the rural areas of Jhang / Faisalabad.
lm702 are lemans? As far as i know they've been discontinued, can anyone confirm?
I need to confirm this from the shops, that is it LM or some other model. But the number is 702. They were calling it dunlop 702.I am attaching the images.. you can see if they are LM or some other...
I dont know how they look...
Don't know much about yokos, but make sure to check the date stamp on the tyres. They shouldn't be too old.
hmmm.. okay
install yokohama db series tyres they r very good tires.
Sir
Install Kumho KH11 or Bridgestone Turanza GR80/90, if Yoko then Db V550 are best, these LM702 and LM703 are not very good, noisy and will wear quickly.
Regards
Using 702 around since Dec 08 and no issue in corolla 2.OD, Good Tyres but ECO have swelling issue.
yokohama db series for sure are one of the best tyres available out there
if u r a lil low on budget, then yokohama C drive
Ecos are really good when it comes to road grip but they will definitely give you a hard time as you travel in rural areas too. One of them will get out of shape after a few months for sure and then another one after a while I too changed from Ecos to Yokohama for the very reason.Go for DBs. They are really good. My friend has been using them in his SE Saloon for quite a while and is not a very careful driver when it comes to speeding or bumps and they are working really good for him.
waleed80 is the right person to get suggestions from regardig tyres + my openion is yokohama c drive
Dear Friend Avoid Dunlop, Go for Yokohama, Bridgestone, Michelin, Continental tires, they will give you good service as well as high comfort level.
Yokohama db
Sir In Yokohama S Drive and Db V550 are best, overall Michelin XM1+ or Primacy are best.
