Very valid points. I highly appreciate your rely Vadvaro Bhai.
BTW, Interesting name, would really like to know what it means.
I'd give it a shot, I may be completely off the mark. But anyway, In Indian movies, Vad/choona means fraud/ripping off, And Varo means... LoL.. You'd get it if you watch Bollywood's URDU/Hindi movies.
Try my nick, datzburier, if you have time, just for fun of it. Many people have attempted. Its interesting.
Agree with you on your points above, about being involved in your adopted homeland. The whole Earth, whether East or West, belongs to one supreme being, Allah, God.
You migrate after your rizk, or wherever your bread and butter is placed by Almighty. I did not know in my wildest dreams while growing up in Pakistan that I'd be studying from 7th grade up and University level in U.S. I went to government's Urdu medium school in Pakistan till 6th class. My father worked for PIA as an engineer, he was transferred to New York for 3 years and based on Professional qualification he obtained Green Card, and now Alhumdulilah, the whole family has U.S. citizenship.
Like I said, Allah creates your rizk in most mysterious ways, as whole Cosmos, let alone Earth, is subdued to the Almighty.
Great talking to you.
By the way, are you in anyway, associated with U.S. Embassy, in Pakistan. You seem to know quiet alot of details.
Or, are you an American based in Lahore's U.S. Consulate (If there is one), etc.
Just wondering.
You said, do not put hyphenation, while living in U.S. sounds very similar to tone of some groups that object to people who put their Native Nationality ahead of American Nationality, i.e. Italian-American, Mexican-American, Irish-American, Indian-American, Pakistani-American, Israeli-American, Palestianian-American, etc.
Just thinking out loud.
