dont know about need of service again or the boiling problemregarding coolant toyota long life coolant and caltex coolants are the best in marketexperts recommend 50% coolant and 50% water but according to manual alto needs 30% coolant and 70% water
50% coolant and 50% water is ideal but in extreme temperature regions ratio can be 70%coolant and 30% waterwhat was the last time you replaced your radiator cap?must get it checked because in many cases of overheating cap is the major culprit and it is really an easy fixafter driving car check radiator hoses they should be hot and firm, if they are soft and u can press them easily means your radiator cap is not holding the pressure, which it should be.another reason can be a system leak
^^ I believe you are mistaken
the coolant addition prevents corrosion and raises the boiling point of the WATER in the mixture, the water is there for the cooling job. Using a 70% mix of coolant will have very poor thermal transfer properties.
i read it somewhere in the owner manual of corolla. ok i think it should be other way around and i couldnt recall the statement correctly
Use a premixed coolant likr Gs coolant,no need to add water.you should flush the radiator again (but not with soda)to get rid of rust particles.
