i wanna ask if its easy 2 install abs is there much work? or its a bit simple ?
Depends on the car really but ABS is something I recommend in every car. I had near miss once and ABS and Allah saved me. Would've been a dint or broken light but still a bump at the end of the day...
no bro ....its not easy.i asked abt an xli....it was costing abt 40-50thousand rupees nd still lots of effort.
Too many sensors, plus you need the system which can interface with the ecu and all. Not a job that can be done locally, better to buy a car which has abs in it.
i can import the stuff which is needed for abs i know some1 who can send me from accidented cars ya bla bla but just dont know are there a lot of things 2 be installed etc
Brakes are something which must be very reliable and I doubt a system fitted by local mechanices may have that much of relaibality. You might end up having something which is worse then the one without ABS. Which car are u considering ABS for ?
corolla
I think u need to consult an expert mechanic who may have already done such job before. I heard of an electrician by the name of Nazir who probably has understanding of ABS. You may find his whereabouts from mechanics behind Islamabad fire brigade building. He is generally called as "Nazir electrician" and had a shop there repairing electrical components. Later he opened another shop else where specializing in repair of ABS.
It'll be too too much hastle I guess...
ok i will try 2 check with him actually i was thinking 2 import all the stuff from some junk yards but i think if there is so much work 2 be done then its hard 2 take out all the stuff from the car i mean the whole system of abs
or master cylinder kesi or car ka laga lo tu?may be better ho jaye coz u know how corolla breaks are
why doesnt the hell damm toyota try to fix the problem in XLi
