Just wondering if it is possible to do stationary burnout on an automatic tranny????
What car you want to know about?
I've done burnout one E320 CDI and slighly on 325i both auto but it's easy to do burnout in RWD auto, harder in FWD auto
How is it done. I will try on nissan pathfinder as tires needs replacement.
Car in drive, left foot on brake and rev hard. The end result
My truck does not allow it as there is some kind of rpm retarder when the brake is pressed.
Have you seen the Kumho's tires for drifting? it produce red smoke while drifting or burnout.
Title edited and moved to Correct Section

Just don't sit there trying to burn your tires off the rims. You'll heat up the transmission, the engine and rear brakes very quickly. I know someone who's seized a motorbike engine in trying to blow out his rear tire with a burnout.
suvs weight alot and have wide tyres with more grip. more weight, much more power needed for a burn out. i know someone who seized a petrol prado gear box trying for a burn out.
