    Default Mehran Gear Oil Leakage from Speedo Meter Cable

    Gear oil quantity is OK upto the mark
    few dayz ago i saw oil drops on the matt around break pedal
    mechanic checked and told me that it is gear oil coming from speedo meter cable behind meter becoz the cable is old so the oil rising from gear, and cable need to replaced to stop leakage
    i bought japani cable
    my mechanic installed it
    but after few days oil leakage started again, and this time from the gear side where the speedo meter cable pluged into the gear box.

    So guys tel me wht the exact problem can b???
    and how can i fix this issue???

    your gearbox breather pipe is plugged or you have overfilled the gearbox.

    The breather pipe is just lying near the left shock tower (right side if looking from front).

    Bro breather pipe is plugged and cleared (not choked)
    Gear Oil is around or may b below 2.0L

    exactly what gear oil is in there - I hope not the SAE 140 thing, and 2 litres is about ok - If your oil is thick it can foam up inside.

    Blue 1 Ltr Plastic bottle
    i dont know what grade it having
    Should i replaced it with any other Oil ????

    whatever brand you buy - the bottle/tin should state API-GL4 and SAE 75W85 or SAE90 - or closely similar

    There is always a seal from where the speedo cable come out of gear,just replace it and your good.

    Bro the rubber seal is placed at the tip of cable
    as mentioned above, i jst bought the new japani cable from authorized dealer and plugged it into the gear in addition to silicon for better grip and to avoid leakage but failed, oil leakage is unavoidable

    the only reason why gear oil can travel up the speedo cable is overfilled transmission, thick lube or plugged vent.

    Something in the above list is not upto spec.
