I faced gear problem with my Mehran 2010, mileage 62K. Two days back when I press the clutch I was unable to apply gear. It seems as clutch is not pressed whereas it was actually pressed. So I took the car to Pak-Suzuki with toe-chain. Staff member there initially told me that car's clutch plate and pressure plate are out of order. I told them to go ahead and replace them. After opening clutch, technician re-assemble clutch and pressure plate and fly-wheel (I think it was fly wheel too, sorry if I am wrong) and told me that this can be repaired you only need to purchase new clutch bearing and on his recommendation, I took this set to "clutch / pressure plate facing wala" in the market and asked him to examine. Clutch plate wala told me that leather of the clutch plate can be replaced with genuine ones and same pressure plate will be 'tooled' and faced. I decided not to replace leathers and purchased new Japanese clutch plate, clutch bearing and pressure plate was 'tooled' and faced. Then I returned to Suzuki workshop and they re-installed parts. Same gear oil was poured but I replaced coolant of radiator. I had to travel long so I took the car and now after getting free from my job work, I examined clutch and observed that when I half press the clutch paddle, I can hear sound of some rotation. This sound ends when I full press paddle or release it from here. Can anyone please help me whats wrong with clutch now. Do I need to replace pressure plate too or anything else? Thanks in advance.
