    Post **Attention**-----Mehran 2006 Engine Issue

Kindly help me for moving towards the right solution.
The problem is that when i push the accelerator in 2nd/3rd gear on Petrol, its engine generates a voice like (krrrrr krrrrr). When i go to a mechanic for checkup, he said its rings and piston are weak. you should change the rings at least now. Kindly suggest that is it true or having some other problem in the engine. Car is driven 70, 000Km only.

    Waiting valuable suggestion.

    Thanks

No i dont think so rings are weak..If this sound comes only while running on petrol and doesnt come on CNG, then its fine.Use good quality petrol or high octane to check if it helps. But first make sure there is no old petrol in the tank

FF means Factory fitted CNG kit. FF kits have Electronic spark advancers which automatically adjust Ignition timing for both CNG & Petrol. CNG setup without Electronic spark advancer is quite common but in that case the ignition timing is set too advance to accomodate CNG & the engine pings (kerr Kerr.....) wen run on petrol. So if u were runing ur car on CNG previously & recently switched to petrol then it might be the case. If the Spark adnavcer is not installed or inoperative then u need to readjust ignition timing according to specicfic requirement of Petrol fuel. The precise ignition timing for Meharn shud be ~8Deg BTDC.

Boss, I discuss with ,mechanic that he should adjust the ignition timing to resolve the issue. but he anxiously disagree with me and never convinced to do that. He said just use Hi-octane to clean the tank and corborator. this is because ur tank is dirty.
    what should i do?

Tell the mechanic to overhaul his brain a small voice comes and these retards say to put piston rings. Check your fuel pump and get your caburetor serviced and use 30% hi octane mixed with super. Get it completely tuned and i am sure the problem will vanish.
