New EFI Mehran Missing Problem

Today i was going to murree with kids .. while reach barah koh there was a big traffic jam.. ac was on car started missing in first gear.. have to push hard on gas pedal ... parked car at side and open fuel cap.. some gas vent from cap like we open coke bottle.. but problem remain same..

That sound was due to vaccum created in fuel tank for sure your car's fuel tank is vacuum locking

My car is driven only 7k Km.. Jhatka only start in first and 2nd gear .. as soon as you to 3rd all vanish and again you find a smooth ride.. no issue in high speed..

You should have told that earlier here. If car gets smoother on higher gear, then it is not the issue of fuel pump. If it was, car would keep jerking and loosing speed even when it is in higher gear.

Sir, i had mehran for many years.. never face a problem like that.. i drove that to 5 hours non stop.. no issue..
This new EFI engine is crap.. no matter how much i drive.. it happen only when its too hot outside and i am in low gears..

Did you check your car without AC. Does it keep happening when AC is off?

By the way, how much hard is the jerk? Does it feel same like the jerk that occurs when clutch is quickly released?

Well he told that even after opening the cap, car still kept taking jerks. Problem lies somewhere else.

Try this trick as well. Buy new fuel cap from market (not from 3s), put that and drive and test. That cap won't be expensive.

Yes .. smooth on high gears .. even i went 120 on motorways while missing in low gears.. only when it get hot

With or without AC problem remain same.. and jerk is hard .. jb b jhatka lagta i have to push clutch control car .. its like jb bike sy fuel end hojye r jhatky marti ,.

After market fuel tank wont be air tight and will let fumes escape from tank.. well i`ll give it a try .. i was thinking the same..

i changed the tank with an after market one and now the problem is solved.

and i feel to guilty to drive it as when it jerks (which are too hard ) people think iam a bad driver

Yar.. our company lease 3 suzuki mehrans this year.. 2 of them have same problem... one is mine... itni zor ka jhatka lagta log smjty new driver hy ..

This is pathetic. Suzuki the stupid company only knows how to steal money from people. If this problem is arising in Mehran for years, why are they still producing this car without fix this problem!

I think i was the only one who is facing this problem.. point is that they still dont know how to overcome with this issue.. still no diagnose.. they change complete wiring and fuel pump of a car but problem still same..

Ask them to change your fuel tank this time

Try run car with open fuel cap.... vaccume problem check //

will do all trick in coming days.. for time being weather in ISB is not that hot.. car is running smooth no jerks.. let wait for long run and hot weather to check ..

our awaam is sheer stupid including myself , buying a 30 years old car and bearing problems in it which even company is failed to rectify
