My Altis is giving me average of 10.73 km/l based on a mixture of highway and in city driving (Islamabad). This is with stock tires, AC turned on 80% of the time, soft foot on the accelerator (keeping around 2k rpm in city and around 115 km/h on motorway).
Purely inside city (Islamabad) and with AC turned on, soft foot on accelerator (again trying for the 2k rpm), its giving me 8.9 to 9.3 km/l.
On highway (motorway between ISB and PEW), the fuel consumption for speeds around 120 is approx 12.5 km/l, for around 110 is 13.5 km/l and for 100 is around 14.5 km/l. I am mostly driving around 110 so I have confirmed the 13.5 figure but have not confirmed the 100 km/h's actual consumption on a long trip (cannot seem to keep this speed for long
). Again, AC is turned on in the trip and cruise control is used most of the time.
These figures are from September 10th till November 15th, total distance of around 5,000 km, AC turned on 80% of the time. I have yet to note the proper consumption with AC turned off.
FYI, and slightly off the topic, I have driven it to around 190 km/h speeds with no feeling of loss of control (unlike the feeling I used to get in my 2005 and 2006 city when I used to cross 140).
