Sir
Let me give you some hints:
Comparison of CL9 with a W203 C180 Kompressor.
Engine Performance Accord K24 wins hands down in performance, both cars need 90 RON or higher, Mercedes demands higher octane.
Fuel Economy Accord wins again in both 5 speed S Matic and a 6 speed manual, Hondas A/T is also smoother in shift, Accord can easily achieve 9-11km in combined driving with either transmission.
Ride Quality Mercedes has a better ride quality even on the roughest roads.
Steering/Handling/Braking Mercedes wins here hands down with its RWD and traction control.
Quietness Even the base C160 is quieter then Accord even more then 24TL Cl9 with leather heated seats, Accord has purposely build the road noise to interact the driver.
Controls and build quality W203 while inferior to W202 has a better built then Accord or even Acura.
Interior Room Accord has more interior room.
Weight 1395kg of Accord v W203 1500 kg
Cargo Volume 12.2Cuft of W203 V Cl9 13 Cuft.
Fuel Capacity, gals. 64.7 litres of CL9 v 62 litres of W203
Accord W203
Front Head Room, in. 37.8 38.9
Max. Front Leg Room, in. 42.4 41.7
Rear Head Room, in. 37.3 37.3
Max. Rear Leg Room, in. 34.2 33
Accord is surprisingly more stable on highway and the power-train is more smooth, the Mercedes has effortless performance and it can pull the car and overtake at any gear provided you can bear the supercharger noise which will be only evident after driving the silky smooth IVTEC K24.
W203 has narrow rear doors and the rear view while reversing the car can be very limited at times.
But the wood, craftsmanship and leather is of very good quality, even the top Japanese Accord cant compare with the entry level W203 and that alone can change the buyers opinion.
Everything now depends on which car you can find in a better condition and which car you can maintain properly.
Accord wins down here easily, parts are available and much cheaper, if you can afford you can also maintain the car from 3S.
Mark X is an average car, dont even think about it.
