Im considering a buying a dead or near to death condtion khyber, restore it to orignal specs, or atleast close to, drive it a month or two make it trouble free and let it go with some profit.
I wanted some genuine suggestions is it a wise idea, or i would end up doing a loss?
Im a student, due to odd timings of my university, i cant realy do a job, so i waste most of my time idleing, restoring a car and making some money out of it seems a gud hobby and a productive work too.
I personaly dont like mehran, yes FX can be a gud option, a gud margalla would be out of range (to restore) khyber seems a gud option.
But i would like to know how much initial investment would i need (i would obviusly have to lend it from my father probably, as i have no huge savings),
Q1) How much would a 92-97 Suzuki Khyber, (in repairable condition)
Q2) How much would a complete body/mechanical/electrical restore cost.
Q3) How much time should/would a decent restore take, to cashin the money back.
the main question
Q4) Is restoring a Suzuki Khyber a gud idea or not?
Yes only aproximations required, as costs would differ car to car and the kind of work and mechanics/labour i opt for, people who have performed a recent restoration could be helpful.
and in the end if i sell it what could i save??
PS: i hope i dont sound like a car dealer or a broker, its just to take it as a hobby, and make something out of the wasting time.
