I read all debate about fuel consumption. I bought one above said last year in Oct 2012. It is good, comfortable car. Had to Lahore in it with my driver and some goods. It gave only 13 km p lt.
When I bought and registered it in my name it had been only 20000 km driven. I had been told that it runs more then 20 km per lt. That was not the case. Then I got changed plugs( not cheap) and air filter. Then it drove 16 km per lt. I was told there are fixed filters in it and if we remove them then it can run more.
The strange thing is that I checked on Google about consumption and I got this reply. What is true, I do not know. Please come with some good advise.
" Japanese small car manufacturer Daihatsu has managed to triumph over its much larger cousin Toyota as far as non-hybrid passenger cars on the Japanese market are concerned. The company?s small car, called the Move, burns as little as 3.7 liters of fuel every 100 kilometers (63 mpg), while Toyota only manages 3.77 l/100 km with its redesigned Vitz, which will be released later this month.
