    Post Confused about spending the money!!!

    Hey folks!! it's my first thread on pakwheels! I made this thread because I was very confused in buying my second totally personal car. My father gave me a handsome amount of money (30 lacks) to get my personal car n some gadgets! my problem is that i am a die hard rotary fan, but as i belong to Larkana, interior sindh. it would be difficult for me to maintain a rotary i.e Rx8. larkana is 456.9 km away from karachi, which takes around 4 hrs 45 mins on my father's car. although the roads of larkana city are good enough for an rx-8 to roam around but no High octane is available over here, and spare parts would be a great problem for me. the real matter of concern is its parts and the fuel. N the other option than rx8 is a 2005-6 toyota vigo.

    plz suggest me that whether i should by a rx-8 or go for a vigo(which i personally don't wanna) but all of my friends say, "vigo le lo yr, sarkon ka badshah hai". but i personally think they all are "jahil's" as they don't know the class of a rotary. itxx ultimate power n quality. one of ma friend'z brought an rx-8 to larkana, in 2010 an it was here fore about a month, then he went back to karachi. it was a 2003 red colour type r rx-8.

    A friendly opinion, RX8 wont last long....never trust a rotary engine!!Better off with a vigo!

    If you really like it, just get the rx-8. I agree the rotary's are hard to maintain but later if it gives you issues, get the engine swapped with a JZ, best option. Though if I were you i'd look for an Evo, believe me man those things are fast. 16Psi stock, its da bombb! just too fast! Or theres also another cheaper option (considering your budget), Hyundai Coupe (http://www.desktopcar.net/wallpaper/...i_coupe_05.jpg).
    Dont get the vigo dude! Please dont buy a Vigo, the interior is very basic typical low quality and secondly, it is more of a guard car now. If youre going behind a 7 series people might think you're escorting some VIP lol. Very paindu option!

    Looking at Pakistani road conditions and Market, I would say RX 8 is not approprite, less resale value, spares problem, mechanic availablity, roads are not well maintained. The road clearance is less for RX 8. In my opinion go for Pardo, Vigo, surf etc. In middle east Hundye Sonata with black glass top is getting very popular. Its sports shape and very attrative looking car.

    @muzamil_r0cKy

    I think it is just your dream/wish to but a cool thing you have been thinking of. Just imagine a comparison between Vigo and rx-8..Price/economy/quality/looks/drive/purpose nothing can be compared. First make up your mind and then look for choices, that would ease off your decision.

    Well, I would send you my bank account number. You may transfer those 30 lacs in there. I am not confused and know exactly what to do with that kind of money. You should just concentrate on your studies.

    as i am a rotary lover, i keep sufficient knowledge about how to keep the wankel happy, but i have no idea that from where i could get parts for rx-8 such as itx oil filters, n i don't even know about the mechanics for rotaries. hmmm although i have listened about khan motors in defence. that he works on rotaries.
