Go for City. It doesn't consume too much fuel. When you need ABS, Airbags etc. Then go for Belta.

hmmm, I think, city will be a better choice for you because it will be brand new, excellent fuel economy, excellent acceleration, has most of the features of belta and of course, easy spare parts availability.

If you are making a comparison then it should be between 1.3L Belta and 1.3L City.
Comparing a 1.0L car with a 1.3L does not seems justified.
However in the current scenario I would opt for a brand new City as it will be new and gives excellent mileage.
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

    Dude

For Price...Obviously city is more costly but it will be totally new i.e. zero meter

Maintenance....Accept it, local representation of the company and its spare parts availability is a big plus point..so city in this case as well

Durability....belta is a japanese and city is pakistani..Imported Japanese cars are more durable but used/re-conditioned..city will be new and belta will be used and you never know whats the treatment it had back where it came from..Still i am not taking anything away from japanese cars.

Fuel economy...city and belta both are fuel efficient car...but city is 1.3l where as belta you are asking for is 1.0l, so there is a difference. Nevertheless both are fuel efficient cars

Remember that if at any point you want to have cng installed on it as a contingency for multi fuel availabiltiy as well as cost factor....then city can be run on cng

Comfort...there is not a huge difference between both cars except that city has a little stiff ride on bad roads..

Safety....belta takes the lead as have airbags..one wishes that our pakistani companies should be offering them but they do not due to many reasons..

So, what if airbags come out and you need to fit them in...there is not a local, easy and cost effective solution for that. Even though death is inevitable, airbags are a good feature..but city also has good safety features.

    Hope it helped....go for city

you wont find a city 08 in 10 lac ..... neither i think you will find a fresh imported belta 2007 in the same budget ..... so IMO u need to either increase ur budget or look for other options !!!

The City being 1.2 And the Belta sharing the 1.0 with Vitz both cars are underpowered. When buying a used car id consider a Japanese used car better, If u hav the option to buy a new City then the New City would be alot better in all terms
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.
