salami want to know which car is better to buy civic (1999-2000)exi/vti or (2001-2002)exi/vti
1)cng consumption?2)resale?3)maintenence?4)overall?
thnx
1999/2000 is really very beautiful i spent a lot just for this model ..the face-lifted 2004 onward was really nice. 2001 was not nice from front in looks..rest is all good..But trust me a 2001 -2002 really sells cheaper and with difficult then a 2000..EXI/VTI depends on availability..a good exi is better than a bad vti.but if both are good vti all the way.Although i only managed to find a clean exi and m happy with it..simply because the car was in immaculate condition.
I had one observation though.. no one normally sells a good vti 99/2000.The Vti's which i found were all in ruff condition.it appeared that people used most ofthem for some racing ****..Oriel's i fund 2 of them both with leaked sunroofs. Most exi's were with Aged people so conditions are very good.I m speaking about stock neat condition..not about stupid customized civics which are running alover in lahore
thnx for quick and nice advice bro
can any one tell the engine name of (1999-200)vti / exi and (2001-2002)vti /exi
civic 6th gen is really good car (i have 98 vti auto). But of course newer is better.
It has D16Y8 i think
exi has d15z4 (only in local assembled)/in case of replaced engine or JDMit would be D15(non vtec) same to same as D15z4 105 HP.. civic ferio ML.
Resale totally depends on condition.i mysef got an offer of 740k last week.but i have no options at the moment...consumption is very nice i get 12-13kmpl .and pick is superb..CNG sorry to say..i hate it and keep only for long routes..max 100km/60kg i have achieved since i have a totally petrol tuned car.
one more thing make sure to buy a car with good suspension..its one of the rare cars to have double wishbone. Its the best suspension to drive if properly done. Its hell costly though..my friend spent almost 40k for suspension to get back the feeling of new car .Also look for heating issues and thermostat valve as never get any civic or rolla with direct fans/removed valves as a rule of thumb
civic 2000 is better over all. it has good resale, cng consumption. Maintenance of 2000 is cheaper than 2001 and the difference is a lot.
thnx for rplying
hmm nice information thnx
nice average on petrol but on cng why the average is so bad on 60kg
