Suggestion for Vitz!

Salam PakWheelers!!
Hope you are doing. Insha-Allah in near future, I am thinking to change the car, to shift from Mehran Euro II to Vitz 2008 or plus. I do have few questions. Everyone knows that Mehran is a crappy **** and has no space for legs whatsoever for 4 person. What's the condition in Vitz? What's the leg room for driver, front passenger and the back passengers? Considering I am around 5'10" and uses a comfortable back position while driving, what space will it leave behind? In Mehran, it's all so fudged up together.

Any comments / suggestions are welcome. Also please suggest 1.0 or 1.3 version, and which edition to get as there are a lot out there Budget is maximum 11.5 [12 for really hawt piece].

Vitz 1.3L is the best option dude, never go for 1.0L it has knocking, underpowered, funny sound issues

go for vitz with your eyes closed, it's the best car in it's class and Yes very spacious, my friend has 99 vitz and believe me some time it feels more roomy then our corolla.....and If u can then go for 1.3, but 1.0 is also fine

What is the average of fuel on Vitz 1.0 / 1.3? I've heard 2008+ models have very awful fuel economy :s

1.0L vitz has terrible avg
1.3L vitz avg is 14 to 16km/L depends how a driver playz with acceleration

1.0L is 3 cylinder + noisy Engine, here in pak our fuel grade is lil different thats y these 1.0L r not so successful over here. i have seen most of 1.0L vitz with lots of carbon deposit in exhaust pipe that showz burning is not going well .

1.3L (2SZ-FE) is 4 cylinder + smooth + quit Engine, it has all the power u need, i hav 1.3L its a kool car + exhaust pipe is very clean it shows Engine is Healthy. no carbon deposits like 1.0L

Brother sincere advise do not jump to vitz directly from mehran.

first buy a 2008-09 model new shape corolla xli or 2007 altis auto or 2010 swift DLx to get an idea of car maintenance.

also u can buy new shape vitz 2011 model in future which is available for sale in karachi for 1.4 millin.

If u wnat to get a vitz anyway look for 1.0L U grade vitz with low mileage 2007-08 model will cost u around 9 lac.

1.0L engine is best for city use 1KR Fe award wining engine 1.3L wohi purana corolla wala crapy eninge hai stay away from it its heavy thirst and expensive.

2010 ki gol igt wali new passo bhi 11 lac mein mil jaye gio better than vitz.

1.3L ===> 2SZ-FE Engine (2wd) its mention in car documents as well as under the hood stickers,
1.3L ===> 2NZ-FE Engine (4wd) newer buy this machine it simply drinks petrol like hell.

u can identify 1.3L by looking at its silencer its in Rectangle shape + Wide unlike 1.0L Round one.

Cool. I live in Multan and prices are high here as compared to Lahore / Islamabad. If I travel to Lahore / ISB, where will I find 1.3 Good condition, non-tempered Vitz [preferably registered]?

Dude these dayz its really hard to find 1.3L Vitz (07/08) in gud condition, i wasted my 3 months in finding it. its easy to find 1.0L 2010 in gud condition. in ISB prices r lil high, mostly all dealers r fraud. they show u accidented, repaired or repainted ones & say its bumper to bumper original. as u know pak gov as banned the import of 5year old JDM vehicles. only u can only get 2010 models in mint condition. ppl r not importing 1.3L bcz they have to pay more duty on it

Be mentally prepared to spend on Hi Octane with every fill along with regular patrol to keep the car (and yourself) happy, if you just gonna pour in Super patrol than you will get knocking and other problems.

What about Total? I heard Total is as good as Hi-Octane? or at least better than PSO, Shell. Is this correct?

I have better experience of both Total and Caltex than PSO but no Total's super is not better than Hi Octane it might be slightly better than PSO's super
