I am planning to buy a 1998 civic but as its fuel consumption is very high so i was thinking of buying it and swaping the engine with an economic engine with good fuel consumption.i want an engine which would fit bolt to bolt.i dont need alot of power.also tell me any other car in which i can swap the engine for best fuel consumption.btw can i put in a city vtec engine 1.3L

Is that legal to convert my 1300cc car engone to 1500cc???
If yes whats the legal way?

Yes it's legal bro. You'll be given a invoice from the engine seller. And you'll take that to excise and taxation and they'll take fee and update your engine #.

Install a r18a engine in it and it'll be giving you around 11-13kmpl on local.
And 15-17kmpl on motorway
