Hi members please give your suggestions as I have budget of 5 lakh. Daily mileage I require is 40KM. Which car would be economical for me me? Please don't say Mehran as AC of this car is rubbish.
Thanks!

@HORNBOWLER Ofcourse I want the best in 5 lakh. My main concern is more mileage per litre and AC should be excellent. Rest of the things are not my main concern.
Well 2 guys who have Santro they told me Santro not giving more than 10 or 11 KM per liter. How much is it true?
Bro Cultus for economy & 97-98 City or Corolla for comfort.
I think it true my friend 2004 santro give 11 km/l
Coure's AC within city even worst than that of Mehran's..
I shall suggest Nissan Sunny 1997-99 2.0D FE Saloon. It will give 15-16 km in a litre with AC ON in city drive. 19-20 km/l on long.
Nissan Sunny ka idea pasand aa rha hai bro.
nissan sunny is a pretty good car but not recommended to any one who is newbie to cars
The poster has said that he needs good mileage and excellent AC, thatswhy I recommended Nissan Sunny. If he has no issue of maintenace cost etc. etc. then Sunny is the best but it is hard to find such an old model in nice condition.
try to find 2.0d 90- 2000 model .. 12-14 kml and exclent Ac
santro is best fuel avg in 1000cc category of PKDM cars,
from my side 1= santro 5-62=cultus 5-63=coure 5-6
go for cultus , cheap maintenance , excellent fuel average and good ac
Santro if u want a resilient car it keeps running no matter how badly one treats it
Chevrolet Joy ftw
My santro 2006 model gives me 12 - 13 km / litre within city and i know its engine is weak as well. So it all depends how the owner keeps car, santro is efi car and best choice within this budget.
