I recently joined Pakwheels as it I have developed a passion to improve my cars specifications.
Now I drive a Toyota Corolla 1.6L SE Saloon. The car has done 68000km and recently I noticed a significant increase in the fuel consumption. Last time I calculated I got an average of 4.6 Km per Litre. As per my friends recommendations, I changed the spark plugs, Oil, Oil filter and I got the air filter cleaned as it was not as damaged; Also a regular engine tuning was done by the local mechanic in karachi.
Now I fear these changes have not given me a significant change in fuel consumption. What other possibilities could be causing this and how do I repair them?
I would be looking forward to a positive response as this is my first time using this forum.
