brother i have some confusion regarding the mobile required for this ,,, the antenna thing u r referring to , is it the " in-built gps receiver" of a mobile???

if a mobile has symbian but does not have gs-receiver can this system work in it???

secondly some mobiles do not have built-in gps receiver but have a feature called A-GPS(assisted gps),,, wats the story for those mobiles???

The mobiles on which Garmin Mobile XT works must fullfill both these conditions:
1. Those which have In built GPS reciever.

1. They should have Operating System of any of these

• Symbian S60V3 or S60v5
• Windows Mobile
• Black berry OS

And AGPS is assisted GPS it uses mobile internet for speedy connectivity of GPS but it should be disabled from setting so you wont be charged for using GPS.

and does the lcd shows correct readings such as of fuel average?

how have you got speed readings and mileage reading? is it connected to speedometer? because i know Cultus VXLi doesn't come with trip computer.

Bro this is garmin speed menu. It calculates speed and distance from Mobiles GPS. It has nothing to do with cultus speedometer,

Yes you are right brother. Cultus VXLi doesn't have any trip computer. This is a software called Garmin XT installed inside, which calculates the trip times and averages through GPS connectivity and calculations.

No brother, there is no fuel average reading. Well I don't remember the single item cost for that I will have to see the bills. I will update you the costs within a day inshaAllah. Let me find the bills. But, I have invested above 30,000 Rs for added luxuries.
