Its been more than an year here on PWs but never got time to show u people my black beauty..... SO here it is... Toyota Corolla 2.0D Saloon SrModel 2008mileage:- 38,000 kmsIt gives my almost 16-17 kms/litre.Overall Observations:-i) leather interior and sunroof makes the car quite comfortable.ii) The DIESEL engine has a grace.iii) The ride is quite smooth as compared to the previous shapeiv) the braking is in-fact weaker as compared to my Vitz but still its satisfactory....

MashAllah.Why are diesel cars dirt cheap these days? :SI might me changing my santro in the coming months and I really wanted to go for a 2.0D Saloon corolla because of the price.My running isn't much.Around 700-800 kms a month so diesel ought to be affordable for me.
Thnks.....I have it since 08.... n it never gave me a shock....... maybe because of the high prices of fuel.. ppl r forgetting their values..... YEah its great decision to shift to corolla... btw which model are u lookin for?????

absolutely clean..... there is absolutely no match to diesel engines of corolla as far as our local market is concerned
Dont mind but ur car has same engine that used to come in previous shape and very old technology,,though i have driven 04 and 09.the sound and pick was same but the new shape has better grip and nice interior feeling thats all.
though i must say u have kept it clean.

Sir i have also owned 2.0d corollas myself :).my father used to love diesel cars but unfortunately he cannot drive manual cars due to health problems so we shifted all our cars to automatic.i have sold a 05 2.0d saloon recently and have driven it soo many times on long route.no doubt the car was excellent on mileage but used to tire me up after excessive long time run.and the sound in cold days were horrible.but 1 thing i loved that we didnt spend a single rupee on our car and was sold at 40k mileage as like the car was ready to go anywhere
