Guys I would like to share this , few days back I posted that my Suzuki Swift 2012 suspension is making carp carp carp sound whenever I pass though any bumps, so to resolve the problem I went to Suzuki Islamabad Motors I-9, there those guys check the whole car on the jacks and off the jacks drive and after a lot of inspection they concluded that this is the problem because you car is driven in extreme dry mud or deep water like lake or Nalla. and as a result of this water went inside and removed the grease.
As it doesnt happen normally but in extreme deep water i.e cold and extreme dry mud cause this.
After a long debate with the suzuki man I asked for solution to this problem, he said one solution is that we service your suspension cost Rs.12,000/- which is not recommended for new cars like yours, second is that do to service station and ask service guys to spray engine oil on shocks and suspension, later wash it and then spray diesel so the last and the most cheapest solution is that specially for new cars is to buy a bottle of WD-40 and spry it for yourself on to shocks it is a liquid grease so the penetration will be more. But at Suzuki shop we are not authorized to used Wd-40 because Suzuki has its own grease spray costing Rs.1500/- and with labor cost you Rs.2200/-
After this I went to Master Wheel alignment and jackup the car and wow spray the 100ml bottle of WD-40 on to shocks and suspension, waith for half an hour to dry it then all tires back bolted and yahoooooooooooooo the sound is gone,
I came all the way back to pindi form Rawal Road to check my car and there is not even a single crap carp.... It really works WD-40 cost me Rs.150, alignment guys take Rs.100 for jackup the car and removing tyres, Rs.300 for petrol and a total of Rs.550, problem solved.
Suzuki asking for Rs.2200
Service Station Rs. 300 for service, Rs.100 for diesel Rs.100 for oil + fuel expense
