Finally, a Steermatic as my Personal Ride

I am taking 15+ KMPL w/o ac with light foot,, and on long it has again given me 18+ from Multan to Back lahore again...

There might be some problem with your Steermatic or you used to drive it with heavy foot. Our steermatic used to give 15+ kmpl in city traffic. Cvt transmission is known for better mileage.

Huzaifaa; You damn right,,My Company's CITY 2006 iDsi is not giving more than 15KMPL on highway and 12+in city w/o ac even though car is in full mint condition 185,000KM driven...Engine condition is normal too.. I myself have driven that car quiet a lot but average dun cross 15KMPL.

Litrally Strange thing happened with me.....I get my car's tank refilled....It did 444km from Multan to lahore and within city trafiic as a whole(330km from Mux to Lhr and 114KM in Lhr City), while getting back from LAhore to Multan yesterday it refilled with 14.11Litres(1458PKR).
Now what i did, i Divided 444KM with 14.11Litres(i.e 444/14.11) and the average was 31.46KMPL...
Yeah am taking 18+ KMPL continiously from My Steermatic but 31.46 is not reaslistic figure....Where's the problem than....In my car????Ofcourse not....Pumps where am getting fuel....Am surprised

Bro I dun know much about triptronic gears....All i know is its Steermatic (1.5) with CVT..Will you please elaborate Triptronic Gear's Philosophy....

On long drives my Steermatic does 14-15 Kms per litre depending on how fast or slow I drive. In City it does 11-12 Kms/ltr. I think your figures are too high.

this is a triptronic gear.

In Steermatic shifters are on the steering wheel. There is a switch which switches from Auto to Manual again on the Steering and then you use +/- to shift gears. It has 7 forward gears.

Bro Steermatic can also run on Auto(If you have driven)....i normally drive auto ..yeah to smoke COWrolla ,i shifted from AUto to manual just to give that man a lesson just for 5-10 sec..(H)

It has done 70k and full history at Steermatic Fan Club. Probably it is the only car on PW with full history right from day one till now MashAllah.
