a good small review indeed, It has an EPS, Im glad you noted the stearing being harder then that of the Gli, I had the same issue but i thought its because of bigger tires or some other issue.
One thing that we need to keep in mind is that, Why is there the 3 and 5 year slab, And that these are used cars not reconditioned, like the ones that came in late 80's and early 90's
In Japan when you get a new car they are taxed for the 3 year maintainence and then you need to get everything fit faat which costs alot and that check up is valid for another 2 years, (5th year from actual purchase)
Since the cost of keeping the car fit faat is so high, Japanes prefer buying new cars instead. Altho they keep cars in top notch condition, Suspensions are almost brand new condition because of good roads, But since i got to know that they sell their cars instead of getting the checkup done,
We need to get eveything (oils and filters) replaced just to be on the safe side, (better be safe then sorry).
CVT doesnt has any gears, it works like the 49cc scooters (scooty to be presise) we used to have, CVT tranny is used for the fuel economy only, is being used in world wide cars now, Altho CVT's arnt fun to drive at all, They can beat their counterpart A/Ts in a drag.
Some times you might feel that the gear is slipping on high revs, But thats how a CVT works it does not at all mean that your cars transmission is dead (many people used to sell their Honda City IDSI ones thinking that the gear is slipping and the tranny is cooked).
Not buying a Cultus was a wise decision by you, I faced the same in 2006, and im still happy with my 11 year old Vitz (2002), i can only imagine if it was a Cultus how would it be by now :D.
