Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation

<br>The truely unique (ongoing) transformation of my 2011 CITY!

When i came to Pakistan after a long time my father bought me my first car here, a 2011 Honda CITY. And so, the love affair began.
I loved the car because of its wicked looks and style but slowly got bored of seeing it so stock because of SO many CITYs around! I just had to make mine different so it stood out from the others. This is where it all began.

I will be posting up pics to show what i did from the start and what it looked like at each stage.

What it looked like when i first bought it, pretty much stock + LED parking's, which was the first 'mod':

After about a year of running more or less standard, i added some DRLs (this was at the end of 2012, before most in PK even knew what DRLs were (A short while before this i had installed some 6000k HIDs myself in the standard halogen reflector housing):

Next up: Angel Eye Bi-Xenon Projectors. When i went to the UK for a short break, all the cars there with HIDs had Projectors (uk road regulation). Coming back to my car with no projectors just desi HID bulbs in a halo-reflector, i felt really unprofessional with them so i got some big 3" Projectors (larger than the Accord's i think) imported from UK which my cousin brought over - this was a long day:

Next up: White/Amber headlight DRL/Signal LED 'mod'. (Feb '14). These lights are the unique parts of my car as no one in Pakistan has them and it is difficult to set-up. They have the dual functionality of working as plain white DRLs for aesthetics, and an Amber element for the indicator/signal function!:

Shoes. I've so badly wanted some nice wheels ever since i bought the car so i could replace those UGLY 'plates'. When i finally found something decent (and also had enough saved up from my allowance to even buy them) i swept them up without a second thought! They weren't in the best condition but i saw past that; i only had one image in mind of what i wanted them to ultimately look like. Alhamdulillah, they now do :

All finished! Such an outstanding, professional job - no small time painter could pull it off like this. Still missing some nice center caps which are on order...

They're now clothed with a fresh set of Dunlop SP Sport LeMans LM704, these tyres are still unavailable commonly in Pakistan.

I'm still not 100% on those lights either, they're a little OTT for me tbh. But there's not much choice in the market for CITY tail-lights so its kinda hard. The only other ones available are these ones:

But these ones seem way too sober to me, i bet to most people they won't even look any different! Hard choice...

Not sure about the kit just yet, i haven't had the time to go and check up on these and see what's available around! Any suggestions?

Thanks kid. And erm, not sure as i just said. I know that lip/valence kit will cost around south of 20k but have no idea of what proper bumpers will cost, i'd have to see how much more it costs - If anyone does know i'm all ears

Ma Sha Allah what a beautiful car you got. Firstly brilliant color and well maintained. Headlamps are looking killer. Go for bar style rear lamps. Body kits imo don't go well on city.

Yeah kit looks nice actually, but if u look closely at the paint, the whites don't match. I've been told even if the paint is the same, the material of the kit itself makes it look different - so for that reason people say go for plastic kits over fiberglass?

Lip kit design of city is too heavy. Yay gari aise hi achi lagti hai. Change the rear lights to smoked bar style will look hot on black color.

But I believe none of the stuff you installed is a rare find in Pakistan. Neither the DRLs nor the LeMans and all the things in between. Infact projectors for retrofit are easily available even on Pakwheels. Here is the pic of DRLs installed in my corolla in early 2014;

They look way darker in the photo though for some reason. They're not that dark in reality.

I'm quite bored with the look of the car especially the body, only bodykit will distinguish the car further from the mainstream honda city so that's something i personally really wanna do

Bodykits available are mugen 1, mugen 2, mugen rs, mugen rr, mugen rr advanced, modulo, dominator, INGS and some others i think parto is another. Not sure on individual pricing, though.

To clarify:
I only said that one thing on my car was unique, though: the white/amber flashing LED Parking/Signal lights. I know my bumper grille DRLs aren't rare and i didn't say they were, i only said that i installed them before most people have, which is now, over a year later Sure, LM703s are widely available, but 704 series are not so easy to find. Emphasis: uncommon, not rare. Same with the Projectors, i didn't at all mention anywhere that they were unique or rare in any way. But mine aren't retrofit ones, there's no need to cut the headlight reflector with my pair (unlike retrofit ones). They're also not mostly chinese ones like the ones available here, they're Taiwanese and they're bigger than the average retrofit available here and project further, that's why i ordered them from the UK, that and they came with a guarantee.

I think u may have missed the video i embedded of the lights at work, i am pretty confident your neons or anyone else's can't do that.
