Depends which part of the country you drive in. Islamabad is safe and sound weather wise but Karachi I would advise getting coating underneath to protect the car. That's what I think is being said here

I cleaned the car after five days as it was very clean, despite travelling daily in dusty conditions of Rawalpindi and wading through muddy water filled pot holes on roads, there were no water spots on the sidewalls of tires.

The rinseless wash that you gave me is so awesome I cleaned my car in 15 minutes with it, just spray and wipe with Meguiar's MF towel was so effortless yes so rewarding.

I remember when I brought the car home from showroom, family members said why there is so much dust on it and now dust does not stay or accumulate on the body.

I rarely need Navigation in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. But sometime it has helped to find places and directed me straight to unseen places very smoothly and it fits well here in this space and gets GPS signals too. It is a portable navigation device by TPL with 3D Sygic. I will buy the navigation card from them once they drop prices because 16,000 just for maps is too much.

Further in fsd I heard the navigation card is for rs.8800. I will check as mine is coming in next week

Yes Rs. 16,000/- is too much just for maps. One can sell this player, add Rs. 16,000/- and buy an android based player and download all the maps you want for free.

BTW I have felt that due to absence of mud flappers, the car sides get dirty even with small splashes. Are you thinking of fitting mud flappers? Their disadvantage is that they hit high speedbrakers.

Mudflaps. Not at the moment. Have not bothered me much yet. May be down the road, I put them on. Since I have a dedicated navigation device, I should not worry much about the card.

Today I noticed that when I switched on parking lights, instrument cluster lights became dim. Is it normal?

Also I noticed that on parking position only two small lights in grill were on and no bulb in the headlamps was on, Is it normal?

Third thing I drove bumper to bumper 90 minutes on Islamabad Express today and when I reached home I felt heat coming out of wheels. I touched the wheels and they were hot but no very hot, I could keep my hands on them. Is it normal for an auto transmission car?

It's a feature in all Toyotas where cluster light dims with headlights or even parking lights turned on.i like it because I don't like lights in front of me when driving in night.Has your car got brightness control for dashboard ???
Second one is another feature where if you turn the engine off with your lights on then only parking lights will stay on.clever way of saving battery charge if you forget to turn the headlights off.
Last one ,I think it's normal.this heat must've been coming from brake discs,it's normal with any stop start driving. With auto obviously you rely more on brakes than manual ones so you will notice it bit more. That's another reason you have to change front brake pads more frequently than manual ones.

Normal. It's to save you from the blinding optitron LED lights at night and enable you to focus more on the road. I hope your cluster has the option to disable the dimming, all altis 1.8L trims have this option.

Yes, those two strips are your parking lights. No bulb in the main lamp housing.

Yes normal. Your car is auto, you have to use the brake to prevent it from creeping. Your brake discs get hot, not the wheels themselves.

P.S: NEVER, NEVER EVER wash your car with brake discs hot. The moment you pour water on them like desi drivers, you kill the brakes instantly.
