i am planning to book 1.6. before that i would like to ask you the filer thing. i am from salaried class and i have not filed for last couple of years. If i want to file now what do i need to do at his time of the year ? And do i need to file before booking the car or i can book it now and meanwhile submit the return ?

Also at what time i have to pay this withholding tax.

Would appreciate your suggestion and guidance on this.

You can book your car by paying 500000 initial payment ... rest payment one month before delivery ...in delivery period you can become a filer and send your details to Toyota Indus .. I did the same became filer one month after my booking and now I am a filer in IMC data base .. hope lt is helpful ..

Today I bought trunk tray or mat for 4500 rs. it is made of a very nice quality plastic. But when I came home and put it in the trunk it did only fit from tail side, while sides and end towards seat had gap. I spotted a product sticker and it was written 2012 Civic. Called the vendor and he said the sales boy had mistakenly given me that and I could return change any time. It is some Aeroflak brand.

They also had another one for 1,000 rs. But it was of very cheap and flimsy light paper like material. Never buy that.

Second tank top up today. MID and old school averages match.

The range showed just 12 kms. I thought will fill 54 liters but only 44.8 liters were filled.

UPDATE: Driven more than 2,000 kms and fuel average has improved bet 13 to 15.5 kms city drive. (June 16, 2015)

I also got it from the same vendor yesterday and same story , then he gave me the Corolla one which had a sticker of 2008 model altis , and it did not fit as well. I think you should return it back.

One of my friends who has 10th Gen Xli is using clutch bar for the past couple of years, no issues at all. I once broke the steering cross of my 9th Gen. Toyota quoted 16,500 rupees. I got it replaced with original Toyo cross from outside in 1,000 rupees (both labour+ part).

I found the info on PakWheels about it from a thread posted by a 10th Gen Gil owner who had EPS.

well yes i agree, the 3S are a total rip off but i was naturally very confused as to what suddenly happened to the clutch while the car was just parked - it was ok when i left it but i guess i might have pulled the clutch a bit while applying the clutch bar - so i took it to 3S locked in second gear and didn't want to drive it any further in that position so let them do it. i do keep my vehicles company maintained anyways. and as for the clutch bar, i had also been using it for 3 years but once you have a look at the very delicate plastic mounts of the clutch cylinder, you'll never go near a clutch bar again!

I guess besides these locks there should be some option in which we can easily dismantle any component such as distributor/coil cables and plastic part inside distributor in case of mehran.. Is there any such sensor/component etc which can easily be taken out from corolla without putting engine/wiring at risk?

If you're planning to keep a corolla without insurance, my advice to you would be "DON'T".

55 liters is the actual tank capacity. The usable capacity is 50 liters, the rest is air reserve. That's what an engineer at indus told me. You still have a liter of fuel left when the MID turns to zero range. I know cos i've driven my car to stall point in order to calculate the most accurate fuel average btw, it's good enough average for a 1.6 A/T in the city (y)

When i took delivery of my car the person said k sir petrol dalva lijeyga mene bola sir atleast 10liters to dena chaye petrol khair i took the delivery went to nearest caltex pump and 54.59L went in it thora aur chala leta to zero meter car k sath road pe khara hua hota
