@ newton: The fuel 'jalee' must also be in other cars (Corolla, Civic, etc) but how come it doesn't trouble any one else? And any explanation for a big piece of cloth in the fuel tank (direct from the factory!)?
I think everyone takes care of their new car equally (if paid for with honestly-earned money), and people generally tend to get lazy after 3-4 years. But our (official) Baleno has run only 24,000km (within a year) and the dashboard and doors rattle, the battery appears to be weak for the car (turn on headlights and the clock is so dim you can hardly see it), and the wiper and light handles (behind the steering wheel) are very moody (they work when they want to). The car has an impeccable service record and is routinely serviced (every 4000km) and driven as carefully as a personal vehicle.
@humy: You should get your uncle to write about his Liana experience!
