I have taught many people to drive, and changing the tyres is a compulsory part of the training. You may think its overkill but I make them remove and reinstall all 4 tyres. However some of the people were very stubborn and I wasn't able to persuade them to practice. Well they'll face the music stranded at odd places.
One of the glaring mistakes in the video is that the tyre unistalled is put aside, although it should be put under the side-skirt to minimize chance of injury. However not all the usual mistakes were present as the nuts were tightened in cross.
Also, the lug nuts should be tight. One day I was ill and quite weak and couldn't put in the effort by hand and didn't use my legs and the tyre came off. The nuts should be tightened until you listen the whistle, though not by so much force that you damage the threads.
