I also have a Deluxe. I purchased my bike in 2006 I also shared the same view - that the rear tire has poor quality, but I was a rookie back then. I replaced the original tires with trial tires - which not looked terribly ugly, but also screwed up the fuel economy.
But after 4 years of riding the bike, I have learned that its not so. The tires are perfectly fine. You just have to ride it properly. And how to do that ... its difficult to put it in words...as it can be learnt only through experience.
You must have noticed that sport bikes have the same type of tires - but only broader. Professional bike riders can do knee down turns on normal roads (not just tracks...). So the problem isnt with the tires. Third class Paki roads are definatley one factor, but the other is how you ride.
I have shifted back to my stock tires. I thrash my bike confidently and can turn at very steep angles ... but it all comes with experience.
Inshallah - you shall develop your riding skills. One tip to improve your riding is to watch MotoGP and read articles on improved bike riding in good bike magazines like Fast Bikes Magazine or any good riding blogs.
