I have Suzuki Khyber and I went to workshop last week to change its front shock absorbers. I installed Kabli ones. The previous ones were repaired and filled with oil and hence they were very stiff. The elasticity of new ones seems good. After installation, I took my car to alignment center and he adjusted the cambers.
The next day I went to the same workshop as my cars left axle (Godda) was leaking some grease. When the mechanic opened it up, he said that the inner side boot is torn apart (The end which is near gear box). Hence I got the new boot and get it installed. He said that no wheel alignment is needed after axle work.
I was driving in city for the last 4,5 days but today when I drove my car on Islamabad expressway, I noticed severe vibration after 90 Km/hr. Not only the steering was vibrating, the whole car was vibrating. And I must mention that 2 weeks ago I went to Faisalabad on M2 and there was no such vibration.
Now I want to ask these question.
1- What can be the reason for this vibration, new shocks or axle?
2- Do we need any kind of alignment after axle work?
Experts please help me out.
