Xulfiqar, the nut has flats, and I have OEM alloys and nuts. The first thing was spot on; the nut and stud BOTH rotate, making it impossible to get the nut out.

Mahmood, I checked a bit, and the most I could do was lift the car up on jacks, turn the steering to one direction, reach behind the wheel and be able to remove shocks and springs. The one nut/stud that has slipped keeps the wheel attached to the hub, no possibility of working it out from the back.
