you have to understand how the dealership prices work. they sell products at a huge premium for a reason. their overheads are higher..they have warranty cost...they train their staff so thats an expense for them. they pay huge amount in rent, machinery, equipment etc.
you cant compare every product or service that the dealer offers with a footpath mechanic or a small store elsewhere in the city.
for something cosmetic and non performance oriented, i always look around first..but if there is something core performance / engine related..i always go to the dealer provided im certain i cant do it myself or even with the help of someone. that is more true for a new car u buy.
if i have a budget to buy leather seats...i will look for performance related stuff first...suspension, lips, exhaust, intake etc....with so much heat in Pakistan....as storm said that...the leather is not of good quality...u r better off spending all that money on things which give u some performance.
