New Delhi, July 04: Honda launched the entry level premium sedan Civic
with a starting price of Rs 10.75 lakh on Tuesday for manual transmission variant and Rs 11.45 lakh for automatic transmission.
Civic, which will sport a 1.8 litre petrol engine, will be available in manual and automatic version. The car was launched by Honda president and CEO Takeo Fukui.
"With the launch of the latest generation Civic
in India, we are reinforcing our commitment to the market," Fukui said.
The car to be manufactured at the Honda Greater Noida facility will have 68 per cent localisation which will be scaled up to 80 per cent within the next two years, the company said.
