Dear, there will not be any problem if the oil level exceeded above the max level. The only thing that is to be noticed is that whether water has contributed to the rise in the level. Also check the viscosity of the oil. If the oil has a milky look to it, take it to a mechanic.
But dear it might be a problem. if the oil is too high the crank will hit it and may cause it to foam like when you whip cream the foamy oil goes through the oil pump ind to the crankshaft there is lots of pressure on the crank and it will push the air out and now you have low oil pressure on the bearings and it may harm them it wont blow seals or cause leaks and this damage is rare.
get it out ASAP
go to shell petrol stations, they suck the oil out
request the oil changing guy to suck out the extra oil
pay him a bit, would do it happily
