Our bikes are so simple that you can do simple things like oil change, brake pads, air filter, carb service, chain adjustment and tune up yourself at home... Even valves adjustment is simple on a CD70. One could learn to rebuild its whole engine in just few days of training...
Don't take it on yourself but generally speaking; we Pakistanis hate to get our hands dirty like Arabs. We think that these things will hurt our egos and should be left to illiterate and "low-life" mechanics...
When I was in U.S, every motorcyclist I came to know there used to fix his bikes at home. The guy, from whom I bought my motorcycle from; happily teached me how to do basic maintenance on my (and his former) Suzuki DR350 without asking a penny from me!
There, people love to share knowledge and don't have might egos like us... Again, I'm not pointing my fingers at anyone here...
We're equal and thats what Islam teaches us. We forget it and Americans followed it and now they're a super power... Sure, its military is threatening almost every poor country but American 'civilians' are very nice...
Sorry, back to the question... Regular oil change interval on any bike is 1,000 miles = 1,600km... Google is your friend!
Peace.
