I think I should take a mechanic with me to check all these things as I will not be able to check these myself.
Physical condition, interior etc. seemed to be in mint condition. The interior was very neat and clean and I didn't see any clearly visible scratches there. I tried the AC. The cooling was not VERY impressive - maybe like the cooling of a Cultus. Not sure if the AC needs servicing or something or not. The car started very smoothly. A friend of mine checked the body for repairs/accidents and only found that a small piece of rear left door was painted. Other than this, he couldn't identify any repaint areas.
I didn't ask about the auction sheet. The car was registered which led me to believe that it has been driven in Pakistan as well after the import and the owner sold it to the dealership where it currently was. I will ask about the auction sheet if I decide to visit again. If the car was driven in Pakistan as well (which I think it was because its registered with a fancy number plate) then I guess there is not much use of looking at an auction sheet, is there? As any accidents and stuff like that that took place in Pakistan won't be on the auction sheet.
I will try to check out some more dealerships and see if I can find any more Altos/Pinos in manual. Finding a manual one has been very hard. I hope its worth the effort in terms of getting better fuel consumption than an automatic one.
