Clay is usually never abrasive.
It has its strengths like fine, ultra fine, mild, agressive, etc..
Clearcoat hardness depends on the manufacturer- toyota is known worldwide for a soft clear so it can easily be corrected, but it is more prone to scratches.
You have such an expensive car, how can you even consider thinner and service stations for a second?
The compounds and polishes used are abrasive, not clay bars.
Weell, atleast its better then thinner which would dissolve your clearcoat within seconds.
