a whine during acceleration from a standstill is normal - its the sound the torque converter churning the ATF, if you feel a buzz or feels like rough road driving then its the torque converter lockup clutch facing stiction issues, usually this is manifested after you change your ATF to a regular dexron type and not an HFM type ATF, in Honda case it can also be severely beat up ATF due to its poor ATF fill capacity.
