Toyota Corolla with the same dimension (4530 x 1705 x 1480 mm) and weight is available in different countries of the world including Pakistan, but with different tire and rim sizes. Stock sizes are:
Pakistan 175/70R14 without ABS, 185/65R14 with ABS
US 185/65R15 and 195/65R15 (with or without ABS)
Asia 195/60R60 (with or without ABS)
(India, Malaysia, Philipines)
According to different calculators available on the web, the difference between stock and upgraded tires/rim should not be more than 3%
(http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp)
1. Why is there so much of a discrepancies in these sizes
2. If one wishes to upgrade a non ABS vehicle should one go for 185/65R14 or can 195/65/R15 can also be considered with alloy rims
I am asking this as according to all Corolla users its tires atlease (if not he rims) should be changed for better grip and braking.
