Hi, sorry if a repost but could not find in the forums. Just wanted to know that should one get oil sprayed after getting the car serviced. Some people say that you should not and some say that oil keeps the rubber parts soft, otherwise they will crack.
Comments ?.

Oil causes the rubber parts to ROT. Its BAD for the car. The only thing the underbody of a car needs is undercoating from the authorized dealer.
one should never get the car body sprayed with oil anywhere, the oil gets into the hidden areas and make the rubber parts crack, also it is major cause of rust as the oil stays there and gather the moisture which results in rusting........
OIL par mitti chupak jati hai
Oil doesn't gather moisture !!!!
The main reason that oil is sprayed is to REPEL moisture, so that it doesn't rust the underside of the car.
The problem with using oil is that dust sticks to it.
