@ Alkazar:
No doubt, Bimmers are the best handling cars in their class with top-notch stability & control. I've driven all three German's leading tuners (M, S/Rs & Amg) but the only power-plant you feel while you drive is M, just perfect to rev high, more than enough pure output (N/A) with all the power under control.
On the other hand, Amg gives you good cockpit, nice interiors, enough assisted power & handy yet useless torque to fish-tail in every corner. Why do you need power without control? Unless, you just paid for a car with a 3-spoke emblem &/or pleasure!
Unlike both, S/Rs are more educated in extreme driving conditions (snow/frost) & handles just perfect, thanks to legendary Quattro, but you won't be able to disconnect it & you'll be rolling on all 4 wheels, always. No matter the road conditions!
Near to me, real driving pleasure pops, when your rear wheels spin & push the machine to front while pushing you back to your seat. M & Amg are just right there!
Still, it's not all about how your performance car moves you, it's about how you get moved having your feet, commanding the paddles & 4 wheels on ground performing for you ...!
