SalaamsI've driven an automatic exi on gas and not felt the slightest bit of difference (as compared to my Corolla) and hence wanted to proceed wtih booking a vti (automatic one) instead. someone's told me it's not going to be the sam since vti is vtec and the other is normal. what now?
hello!vajih...what corolla u have......1.3L Indus or 1.3L Xli or Se saloon....i see corolla better than civic's on gas...Thanxx
1.3 indus.
Well in the case of exi and Vti, it should matter as the difference lies INSIDE the engine. It shouldn't matter in cases which have just a different fuel supply system as its cut off when CNG is turned on...
Which means?
Dear vajih, you will find vti to be better than exi on CNG. and thats for sure!!
thanks. but you sure even though vti is vtec? thank god i can sleep half peacefully tonight.
hello!yaar u definately fell difference in driving as well as in pick and speed.1.3 indus was 12 Valve OHC and creates around 71hp.....whereas exi was 1500cc with 16 valve SOHC and creates around 108hp.....so here comes the difference....mainly Vti was about 128hp so Vti gives better result than exi....Thanxx
@bilalahamdear u r right that electronic system is cut of when CNG is on , but what about the vtec engine, it have valves which operate electronicallyV-tec is powerfull n fuel efficent civic iz drive pleasurous
@cool_Blue,what is the basis of ur expert advice? cause i m planning to buy a VTI A/T and willing to put it on CNG but not sure about what will be the performance? u comment will value in my decision of buying A/T VTI. thanx
